Orbit International Survey Surveyors Perform calculations/computations to assist/complete surveying/precision alignment/engineering projects. A total station or TST (Total station theodolite) is an electronic/optical instrument used for surveying. Surveying or land surveying is the technique, profession and science for determining the terrestrial or three-dimensional position of points and the distances and angles between them. Total station or GPS is delicate but versatile instrument.

This instrument is provided with an inbuilt microprocessor. The microprocessor averages multiple observations with the help of slope distance and vertical / horizontal angles measured. When height of axis of instrument and targets are supplied, the microprocessor computes the horizontal distance and X, Y, Z coordinates. The processor is capable of applying temperature and pressure corrections to the measurements, if atmospheric temperature and pressures are supplied. However, surveyor should check the working condition of the instruments before using. For this standard point may be located near survey office and before taking out instrument for field work, its working is checked by observing those standard points from the specified instrument station.

Ability to efficiently download, process and upload electronic field data, Coordinate with field crew as required, assist in the field, performing data collection and giving alignment direction/assistance as appropriate, prepare Triangulated Irregular Network (TIN) surface models from field data and assist in maintaining Client contact to assure Client objectives are accomplished.

NDT technicians and engineers define and implement tests that locate and characterize material conditions and flaws that might otherwise cause planes to crash, reactors to fail, trains to derail, pipelines to burst, and a variety of less visible, but equally troubling events. These tests are performed in a way that does not affect the future utility of the object or material.
The phased array knowledge is required to operate Omni Scan equipment and perform manual & encoded phased array testing on butt welds in Plates, Pipes and Pressure Vessels. Our technicians are well aware of the theoretical and practical aspects on phased array application, its advantages and limitations.
